Friday 1st December 2023: Storyteller, Beaver Fuel, Baby Teeth, Sugarbully

Where else in mid-winter will you find the sunshine, reggae, and rock that is wrapped up in the quite remarkable band that is Oxford's very own Storyteller? We'll all be in full-on party mode singing boom baggaboom by the end of the evening.

Beaver Fuel

This unlikely trio who never take themselves seriously are long-time favourites with Klub Kakofanney audiences. When Beaver Fuel are on stage, expect crunching chords, lewd lyrics, and over-excited squeaking drummers. Can you feel the bass?

Baby Teeth

Introducing an exciting young band from Marlow, recently featured on Future Hits Radio and making their first appearance in Oxford. Baby Teeth bring their mix of new-age punk lyrics and heavy metal riffing to the stage, and deliver it with style.

Sugarbully is a middle-aged rapper confronting impending mortality with the verbal elasticity of a man half his age (half his age being 20.5 years, to be precise). Expect strong language, an examination of gender, and liberal partial nudity.

The Gladiator is a fully-accessible venue, and there is plenty of seating available. The bar offers a range of drinks and soft drinks, all at very competitive prices, but be aware that the venue is cash only. We do not have any facilities to take card payments. All ages are welcome but under 16s should be accompanied by a responsible adult. There is no on-site parking for visitors, and very little parking in the surrounding area, but there are frequent buses to the town centre.
