Friday 6th September 2024: Peerless Pirates, Shaven Primates, Lies Lies Lies, One Shot
Coming back after the summer break, our first gig of the autumn will see us relocating to Common Ground situated on the vibrant Little Clarendon Street, close to the centre of Oxford. Come along to experience some great music and atmosphere.
Peerless Pirates
Peerless Pirates need little introduction around Oxford. This great party band has a sound which is a rollicking roustabout mix of classic 80's energetic indie, sea shanties, rockabilly, surf-rock, spaghetti western soundtracks, and rum-soaked fun.
Shaven Primates
The electric five-piece line up of Shaven Primates is an art-rock, post-punk band with music which is a narrative of human emotion and experience.
Lies Lies Lies
Lies Lies Lies is an electro-indie rock duo from Oxfordshire. Nightshift reveiwed them as having great anthemic songs and the catchiest of choruses.
One Shot
One Shot, a local guitar and drums duo which is punk and heavy rock oriented whilst also mixing in some more relaxed indie and jazz elements, will be playing its first live gig at Klub Kakofanney.
