Not the Cristmas news
I wasn't planning on sending out an email this week, this being Christmas and all, but a few days ago Phil and Sue put together a short fun Christmas message for friends and fans of their band. If you haven't already seen it, you might enjoy watching it:
The songs featured in that video are snippets from the next Mighty Redox album which is being crowd-funded. In this case, crowd funding means supporters make an advance donation towards the substantial costs of studio time and mastering, and in return will receive a signed copy of the album, a souvenier booklet, and an invite to the family-friendly launch party, (which is definitely something to look forward to once we are all covid-safe again).
Despite the really difficult economic times we've had in 2020, people have been very generous with their donations or pledges and The Mighty Redox is well over half-way to the funding needed to finance this album. If anyone wants to become an album supporter, the band has set up a page for online donations, and all donations are most gratefully received.

Have a good Christmas everyone, take care, and stay safe,
