KLUB KAKOFANNEY is Oxford's longest-running independent music promoter, run entirely by volunteers, and supporting live music in Oxford. We traditionally hold gigs on the first Friday of every month (except August), a New Year's Eve party, and a series of Sunday afternoon acoustic social sessions, presenting an eclectic mix of musical genres, experienced artists as well as up and coming new bands, both from Oxford and further afield, playing their own original music. However, Covid-19 put a spanner inthe works for the last 18 months, and the venue we used does not appear to be re-opening, so gigs are, for the moment, on hold. But we'll be back,...
Klub Kakofanney Reloaded
A vibrantly colourful selection of some fantastic bands who have appeared at Klub Kakofanney in the past. It starts with the amazing UK:ID who rocked up from Glastonbury way back in 2015, followed by Reading's avant-garde Adam & Elvis who rolled into town in 2018, and finishes with a 2019 clip of Oxford's heavyweight instrumental trio, Grudgewood, who were simply magnificent.
