Friday 5th July 2024: The Balkan Wanderers, Killer Kowalski, Darkgnoss, Richie Stix and The Brain People

On the day after the General Election, come to Klub Kakofanney and enjoy a great night of lively music, to celebrate your new government, or to drown your sorrows if the results were not to your liking, or maybe just to have a drink and a dance to escape from all that politics.

The Balkan Wanderers

Inspired by both traditional folk and contemporary music, The Balkan Wanders are an Oxford-based five piece gypsy, ska, punk band, bringing non-stop musical flavours from across central and eastern Europe.

Killer Kowalski

Killer Kowalski is an Oxfordshire-based punky ensemble, described by Nightshift as "primal guitar churn", but I would say poetic thought-provoking, and lyrics that make a statement.

Darkgnoss

The trio that is Darkgnoss is visceral and heavy, more punk than pop, more rock than metal, strong bass lines, and a healthy dose of disorganisation.

Richie Stix and The Brain People

Expect a raucous and very punky start to the night from Richie Stix and The Brain People, a guitar, bass, and drum trio singing no-nonsense uncomplicated songs about, amongst other things, cabbage stew, and being happy.
